N° 0166-TGeorges Jacob Desmalter is perhaps the most famous and certainly the most prolific French chairmaker of the XVIII century. This refined dining chair is an excellent example of his work with turned and fluted arrow feet and a ribbon-twist frame. The seat and back rest are traditionally upholstered with steel springs and horsehair.
